Crazy. Lovely.

Its been a zoo this week. (Literally and figuratively at points.) My sister is visting with my niece and nephew. We are having a lovely time being together. I love it when the girls get time to just chill with their cousins and immerse themselves in building those relationships. Speaking of chill. The weather is not cooperating, but I think my sister (who is from Kansas) is enjoying the cooler temps. There is something truly wrong with wearing jeans and a jacket to the zoo in July.

My cold is (finally) beginning to subside. The only thing that is worse than a cold in the summer is one that lasts for two weeks. It looks to be another whirlwind week. We leave for vacation on Saturday and so this week will be much running around and packing for that. Can't wait to get up to the cabin and just relax for an entire week. Because of the cooler weather there will probably be very little swimming in the lake, but we'll find something to keep us occupied.
